9. SMS / Text Message Communications

Consent. By providing your mobile phone number to Ohana Property Solutions LLC through our website forms, intake forms, contracts, in person, or in conversation, you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS or MMS) from us related to your relationship with OPS, including:

  • Signing an OPS contract, estimate acceptance, or intake form that includes your number

By providing your phone number, you confirm that you are the authorized user of that mobile number and that you consent to receive the communications described above.

Opt-out. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any text message from us

After you reply STOP you will receive one confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS communications from us unless you re-subscribe.

No third-party sharing for marketing. We will not share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or text-message consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all data sharing under this policy.

10. How Long We Retain Your Data

  • Inquiries and quotes: retained while active and for up to 3 years after last contact, unless required to keep longer.

  • Active and completed project records (contracts, estimates, change orders, photos, invoices): retained for the longer of 7 years from project completion or any period required by law, insurance, tax, contract, or warranty obligations.

  • Comments: retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.

  • Registered user profiles: retained while the account is active. All users may see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

  • SMS records: opt-in records and message logs are retained as required by carrier rules and TCPA recordkeeping standards (typically at least 4 years after opt-out).

  • Payment and tax records: retained as required by federal and Hawaii tax, accounting, and contractor licensing law.

We may retain limited information longer when required for legal, regulatory, audit, dispute-resolution, or security purposes.

11. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service. Our service providers are primarily located in the United States. If we transfer data outside the United States, we will do so in compliance with applicable law.

13. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact OPS@opshawaii.com and we will delete it.
